> We deliver all Flowers , Fruit and Hampers within the Illawarra via our own personal delivery driver .
Deliveries are made Monday to Friday between 8am and 7pm . Saturday Deliveries made between 8am and 5pm . We do not deliver on Sundays or Public Holidays unless it is Mother’s day , Valentine’s day.
>We ship Gift Baskets, Flowers and Hampers to destinations all over Australia using Australia Post and Courier Services . Delivery times throughout Australia will vary based on the destination. Local deliveries are processed Monday to Friday if ordered before 12 Noon we can deliver those same day delivery , using our own personal driver .
( Orders placed after cutoff 12 noon , will be delivered on our next delivery day.) For deliveries outside of the Illawarra, orders can be sent in multiple ways:
>Flowers and fruit:, These orders are sent through the Petals Network to a florist who is local to the delivery area. They will fulfil your order on our behalf.
These deliveries are usually available Monday to Saturday. Please order by 12pm for same-day delivery outside of the Illawarra.
( Please note , that designs will vary , the photos in our catalogue are our designs, one sent through anothger florist is their designs.)
>Hampers, Gift Baskets
These orders are dispatched from our store in Albion Park Rail. We use various courier companies to deliver these orders. The date you select is a guide only, and we will aim to have your parcel delivered by this date. We cannot guarantee that a parcel will arrive on a specific day. Courier companies usually operate from Business Days Monday to Friday only.
If you order multiple items for delivery additional delivery fee may apply.
This may still apply even if the items are going to the same address, due to size and weight restrictions.
Please note that we may need to charge additional delivery when shipping multiple items to the same location. If this is the case, we will call you to confirm; otherwise, call us in advance and confirm everything over the phone straight away.

>Incorrect Delivery Address
If we are supplied with an incorrect delivery address, your delivery will be redirected to back to us or the correct address . This will require another delivery fee as couriers charge as per delivery.
A correct address is the responsibility of the purchaser.
>No One at Home Delivery
If no one is at home at time of delivery , as there is access to a place that the courier deems safe , we will leave the delivery in a safe area in the shade out of the weather in visibility to the home owner and a delivery slip placed in the letterbox explaining where the gift has been left. However if it is not safe to leave, we will attempt to try the neighbours. If we cannot find a place that we consider safe and out of the weather , and cannot contact the recipient , the courier my bring the gift back and you may be charged another redelivery fee to redeliver at a later date .
>Secure Apartments , Homes and Gated Gated Communities
If there is no one home to accept , and we are unable to gain access via a secure gate or door , and we are not able to contact the recipient your gift will be returned to our shopfront , which will involve an extra delivery fee to be delivered again after contact has been made. However if it is safe to do so and the courier deems safe we can leave with a neighbour or at the front door of the Home /Apartment in a shaded position , and a delivery slip will be left in the letterbox explaining that the courier has left a gift for the recipient.
At Baskets Because, we take care to ensure each and every gift arrives at the right location on time and in pristine condition. Using reputable couriers and well-established shipping processes, we endeavour to give you the best possible experience when buying from our online catalogue.
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee against unforeseen circumstances such as theft, damage or late delivery. Baskets Because is unable to accept responsibility for any gift after it has left our premises. However, if your order is faulty or damaged when it arrives at its destination, we will do what we can to issue a replacement depending on the circumstances.
Please note that cancellation of an order will incur a $25 fee in order to cover bank charges for payment processing. We recommend carefully checking delivery times prior to ordering and contact us on 1300 557 309 or via info@basketsbecause.com.au if you are unsure.
For deliveries to business addresses, we ask that you include the business name so that the courier can locate the correct destination more easily.
PLEASE NOTE : WE CANNOT DELIVER TO POST OFFICE BOXES .
Where possible, we also ask that you provide the recipient’s contact number so that we can contact them in case of an incorrect delivery address or no one answering the door.
